Community Involvement

David is actively involved in the community and is presently involved with the following:

• Serving on the executive committee of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Mid America Chapter (Kansas City)
• Board of Trustees and Past Chairman, Springfield Board, National Multiple Sclerosis Association, Mid-American Chapter, covering the western half of Missouri and the states of Kansas and Nebraska
• Executive Board Member and Current Chairman, Ozark Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America serving 31 counties in Southwest Missouri and Eastern Kansas
• Eagle Scout and Member of the National Eagle Scouts Association
• Current Vice-Chairman of the Ozark Empire Fair Foundation Board
• Member of the YMCA
• Member of Criminal Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Family Law Committees, Missouri Bar Association, 1984 to present
• Member of Criminal Law and Family Law Committees, Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, 1984 to present  
• Mediator on Mediation and Assessment Panel for the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, 1984 to present 
• Member of the Association of Missouri Mediators
• Member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys
